Olivia Morris

Biography

Olivia Morris is the Community Action Coordinator for St. Joseph County's Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR), a role which involves facilitating community initiatives to reduce pregnancy loss and infant mortality and promote more positive, equitable birth outcomes. Prior to joining the FIMR team, Olivia facilitated community outreach for a maternal home visiting program and helped develop a community-based doula program. She is a certified doula, a certified Community Health Worker, and holds a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University South Bend. Before becoming involved in the maternal health field, she spent three years working on educational programs in Uganda. She is passionate about maternal health equity and believes that every parent deserves an empowered birth experience and a healthy baby.
